My web page has'nt been updated for a long time.On April 23 2008 a very dear friend of mine died . As most know , Peter ran "Pandt International" industrial Sewing machine sales/service/parts .

Peter used to teach sewing machine repair in Toronto's George Brown College. When he taught , I was the service manager of "Elna Canada" and some of his students were our customers.Although we never met in Toronto we talked on phone and through these students . It was'nt until I moved back to Calgary that we finally met. Over the next 15 years that I knew him , he and I would have many a chuckle talking about and comparing experiences with the industries many short-falls in the technicial level of sewing machine repair people. We knew how bad the knowledge level of these person's are. He was the only guy I knew in North America that actually knew what makes a machine "tick" ! It is because of him , I have since decided to write a book about the industry and try to change the way technicians come to be. Certification is the goal.It will be pointed at the consumer and it will make them smarter than the dealer , and perhaps force the certification of the retail dealer , wholesaler technician and hopefully the factory will also have to raise the bar to a level other than supporting so called "factory trained" technicians shown in every yellow page ad in the phone books across the continent(s).Peter will be whom the book will be dedicated !

Now, if you need a reperable service for all your industrial needs , I STRONGLY suggest you contact Peter McNeil @ 403-617-6324 . He worked wth Peter Topping and know he is very well certified !
